Thanks to Helen Bayliss of Sale Wombles for the voluntary work she has done on the paths in Worthington Park near the Charlton Drive entrance.

As part of “Love Parks Week” on 2 August 2022 members of the Friends of Worthington Park, supported by One Trafford staff, held a litter pick in the Park.

This year Love Parks Week runs from 29 July to 5 August.
As part of this Week, there will be a litter pick in Worthington Park on
Tuesday 2nd August –10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Meet at Broad Road entrance.
All welcome. Equipment will be provided but please come dressed as for gardening!

Worthington Park has been nominated in the Fields in Trust competition to be one on the Uk’s favourite parks for 2022.

Timetable for the events at the “Music through the Ages” Jubilee event in the Park on 3 June 2022.

The three sets of main gates to Worthington Park were installed in 1953 to mark the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth ll.

To celebrate the Queen’s platinum Jubilee the gates have now been repainted. Many thanks to The Conservation Volunteers for their hard work with the paint brushes and to Amey for supplying the paint.
