On Friday 20th December 2013 Sale Waterside Arts Centre are showing two films in aid of the local charity the Alex Hulme Foundation which supports research into Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in children.

At  2pm there will be the family comedy “Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger” starring David Tennant as a teacher whose class enters a Song for Christmas contest.

Then at 7pm there is a showing of the famous musical “White Christmas” starring Bing Crosby.

All tickets are £5.00

At the evening performance there will be a chance to buy mulled wine during the interval.

The Friends of Worthington Park will be helping Father Christmas on their stall at the Friends of Walkden Gardens “Carols around the Dovecote” event in Walkden Gardens (off Derbyshire Road, Sale) on Saturday 7th December 2013.

The Friends of Worthington Park hold free fitness sessions on the Outdoor Green Gym in the Park. Craig, our qualified fitness instructor, continues to  lead the sessions.

Sessions will be held every Monday starting at 11am. Meet at the Out Door Gym.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE NOW NO SESSIONS UNTIL THE NEW SEASON STARTS IN FEBRUARY 2014.
