We hope that, as last year, the Easter Bunny will make an appearance.
On the day, this little rabbit will be helping to raise money for Trafford Cats Protection.
Lost Teddy Bear
This teddy bear recently lost its owner in Worthington Park.
Does he belong to your child? If so, please contact us. You can email to teddybear@worthingtonpark.org.uk
Website activity 2013 in review
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 9,700 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
Carols by Candlelight Success!
The “Carols by Candlelight” event in the Park on the evening of Monday 16th December 2013 was a great success with about 100 people attending.
Congratulations to Magdalen and David Donlan for having the original idea and organising the event and many thanks to the gospel choir for their beautiful singing.

The joint event will take place at Walkden Gardens on 7 December (please see poster), and we have invited Father Christmas to join us there. He has managed to fit us into his busy schedule, and will be able to see all the children who attend.
Please come along and support the event, which will raise vital funds for Worthington Park and Walkden Gardens.
