A Message from Jacquie Wilson:-
Its that time of year again for the photo shoots for the annual calendar This year’s calendar is being produced to raise funds for the Friends of Worthington Park and Guide Dogs all profits split 50/50. If you’d like your dog to be in the 2016 calendar I will be out in the park (in the wildflower garden near the playgrounds) with cameras on Wednesday 14th October, Sunday 18th October and Tuesday 20th October from 10.15am – 11.15am (weather permitting) but if you can’t be there at those times and want your dog to be in the calendar please contact me at jacquie.wilson@icloud.com and I’ll do my best organise to meet up with you to take some pictures. For £15 you’ll get an A4 wall calendar with 12 colour pages which we aim to have available late November/early December. Additional calendars will be available at a cost of £12.00.
Weather permitting, the Coffee Van will start operating in the Park on Bank Holiday Monday 31 August 2015. It will be located near the bandstand.
On Fathers’ Day (Sunday 21 June 2015) Sale Lions will be holding their traditional Family Fun Day in Worthington Park.
Entrance is FREE. Opens 12 Noon.
Fairground rides, bouncy castle, lots of stalls and all the usual attractions.
