The free outdoor gym fitness sessions organised by the Friends Group and run by Craig Brown, our fitness qualified instructor, will re-start on Monday 7th April 2014 at 11am.

The Friends Group will be holding their Easter Event in the Park on Saturday 12 April 2014, starting at 2pm.
We hope that, as last year, the Easter Bunny will make an appearance.
On the day, this little rabbit will be helping to raise money for Trafford Cats Protection.
This teddy bear recently lost its owner in Worthington Park.

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 9,700 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
The “Carols by Candlelight” event in the Park on the evening of Monday 16th December 2013 was a great success with about 100 people attending.
Congratulations to Magdalen and David Donlan for having the original idea and organising the event and many thanks to the gospel choir for their beautiful singing.
Join us and a local choir to sing carols around the community Christmas tree in the Park (near the Joule statue).

Visit the Park and bring a bauble to decorate our community Christmas Tree. The tree was planted to commemorate Sheila Dingwall who was Secretary of the Friends Group for some years. The tree is near the statue of Joule.
